How long does the insurer have to respond to a claim on home insurance?

All our Property Insurance Policies provide FREE 24hours Claim Assistance 24/7. We will be there in an hour to handle the problem. Within 12 hours we will conduct you confirming who will be looking after your claim and all the relevant information.  Our associates will arrive at the scene of the incident/damage for emergency repairs if necessary.

 

 

 

Your 24 hours Property Assistance Membership Certificate will show you the level of Assistance and the covers and benefits you are entitled to. Gan Direct offers two types of covers: Response and Total Response Services.

 

Under the Response Service, we cover the call-out fees regarding your claim, the first hour’s labour for your coverage and guarantees all permanent repairs for 12 months from the date the permanent repair was carried out.

Under the Total Response Service we provide you with coverage of your call-out fees regarding your claim, coverage of parts and labour up to the agreed amount per call out of your covers and we guarantee all permanent repairs for 12 months from the date the permanent repair was carried out.

 

When you first notify us of the claim, you will be asked to provide our insurance company with information related to your claim. Our dedicated handlers will understand the impact of the claim, work hard to minimize any interruptions and strive to get things back to normal, as quickly as possible.

Our qualified surveyors will visit your property within 12 hours of the assignment, to assess damage, scope the work and agree the limit of liability and the schedule of repairs. Throughout the life of the claim we will always provide you with updates.
