Disability of a person to effectively practise a job, loss of sight, loss of hearing, loss of limb etc. What you should be aware of is that there are two different ways of covering Permanent Total Disability. The one that covers the insured for loss of limbs, sight or performing a job and the extended cover which includes a details schedule attached to the policy that specifies the amount of compensation in case of a permanent partial or total disability. Ask your insurance for clarifications in order to choose the policy that better fulfils your individual needs.
