Should I mention the claims I had with my previous company, if I had the Claim Protection and/or Windscreen Additional Benefit? If so, will I be charged?

The insurance industry operates based on utmost good faith; in order for us to better serve you in the future it is to your benefit that you tell us/declare/inform us about EVERYTHING in order to avoid future problems and misunderstandings. You MUST DECLARE EVERYTHING regardless of whether or not of a possible charge!

In case you had a claim you will not be entitled to a discount, regardless of the amount paid by the insurance company. Customers are only entitled to this if they have a claims-free history. However, there will be no loading; i.e. you will not be charged for the claim, if it falls under our Small Accident Forgiveness benefit. If it is over the amount allowed as 'small accident', you will be charged for the claim and there will be loading on your insurance premium. The same applies if you have 2 claims in the same insurance period, the second claim is charged and there will be loading on your premium.
