What documents make up your insurance policy?

The insurance policy is made up of the Proposal Form, the Schedule of Insurance, the Certificate of Insurance (only for insurance policies that are required by law) and the Policy booklet. All insurance policies that are required by law also include a Certificate of Insurance. Your policy is being prepared according to your instructions based on the information you have given us about yourself, your family and your property. Please read it carefully to ensure that it meets your requirements. These documents set out the contractual rights and obligations of us and the insured. Information you supply may be used in assessing your claims made and for preventing fraudulent claims, as well as for renewals and claims handling.

Read the Schedule of Insurance carefully since it contains all the details of the policy valid in your case. Make sure that the Schedule includes all you have discussed and agreed with the insurance company. Then read the policy booklet in order to have a full picture of the insured events as well as any additional cover that might be included such as additional benefits, excess amount (if any), terms and conditions as well as exclusions and compare it with the Schedule of Insurance in order to confirm which are valid in your case and which are not. These documents set out the extent of your insurance coverage and constitute the policy on which we will make any decision on a potential claim. Therefore, once you receive your policy make sure that you have read everything carefully and that your policy includes what you have agreed with us. If you have any queries contact us or If you want to make a complaint place it in writing to the address shown in your policy booklet.
